Terms of Service

Effective October 15, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Avec Social LLC ("Avec Social," "we," "us") and cover your use of avecsocial.com and the Avec Social mobile app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Avec Social

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service if you have been convicted of a violent or sexual crime, if you are required to register as a sex offender, or if we have previously removed you from the Service.

2. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Your photos must clearly show you.
• You may have only one account, and it is for your personal use only.
• Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings.

3. Community rules

Avec Social only works if people feel safe and respected. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or intimidate anyone, or use hate speech or discriminate against anyone.
• Use the Service for dating hookups, sexual solicitation, escorting, or any sexual services, or send sexual content to anyone who has not asked for it.
• Sell, advertise, or promote products or services, ask for money, or run scams.
• Create a fake profile, pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your age, identity, or intentions.
• Post photos or information of other people without their permission.
• Post anything illegal, violent, or sexually explicit, or anything involving minors.
• Share someone's private information, such as their address or phone number, without permission.
• Use bots, scripts, or other automated tools, copy data from the Service, or try to get around our security or safety features.
• Use the Service for anything illegal.

4. Meeting in person

Avec Social helps people connect, but we do not conduct criminal background checks on members and we cannot guarantee anyone's identity, intentions, or behavior. Any verification features help, but they are not a guarantee. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members.

When you meet someone, meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, arrange your own transportation, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Never send money to someone you met on the Service. If you are ever in danger, call 911.

5. Your content

You own the photos, text, and other content you post ("Your Content"). By posting it, you give Avec Social a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and adapt Your Content (for example, resizing a photo) only to operate, improve, and promote the Service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where we keep information as described in our Privacy Policy, or where other members already received it (such as messages).

You confirm that you have the rights to Your Content and that it follows these Terms. We may remove any content at any time.

6. Reports, moderation, and termination

You can report or block any member in the app. We review reports and may investigate, remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or permanently remove accounts that we believe break these Terms or put others at risk, with or without notice. We may also share information with law enforcement when we believe it is necessary to protect someone's safety.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

7. Paid features

We may offer paid memberships or features in the future. If you purchase them through the Apple App Store, Apple processes your payment, and subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We will show prices and terms clearly before you buy.

8. Our rights

The Service, including the Avec Social name, logo, design, and software, belongs to Avec Social LLC and is protected by law. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, change, or reverse-engineer it.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or secure, or that you will find anyone to connect with. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, on or off the Service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Avec Social and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or your interactions with other members. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Avec Social and its owners and employees from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your breaking these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. If we make important changes, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Avec Social about the Service.
